The story of 252 East 57th Street

Designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill and completed in 2016, the tower rose from a former school site through a public-private partnership: the developers, World Wide Group and Rose Associates, rebuilt the neighborhood schools and used the remaining air rights for the tower. The result is one of the most architecturally distinctive addresses in Midtown East.
