Designed by SHoP Architects and developed by JDS Development Group and Property Markets Group, the 2022 tower stands 1,428 feet tall with a width-to-height ratio near one to twenty-four, making it one of the most slender skyscrapers ever built. The building
Steinway Tower is a neo-Art Deco supertall rising from the landmark 1925 Steinway Hall. Its east and west facades are clad in glazed terracotta piers in six tones of white, paired with bronze detail and floor-to-ceiling glass. Interiors are by Studio Sofield, and the residences enjoy sweeping views the length of Central Park.
